Mike has been serving as the Pastor of Trinity since May of 2006. He has over 35 years in pastoral ministry and has served churched in Arizona, Texas, and Arkansas. He has a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to serving in the local church, Mike has been involved in international missions work in South Africa, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico, Philippines, and Dominican Republic.
Mike and his wife, Kathy, have three full grown sons, two daughter-in-loves, and four grandchildren. Kathy is a full-fledged Texan and has been the love of his life for over 38 years. She is a retired elementary school teacher who continues to love on children through the church's preschool and children's ministries. Kathy is also an active part of our lady's prayer ministry.
As the Student Pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, Andy leads the children and youth departments from K-12 grades. Prior to his arrival to Trinity in November of 2021, Andy studied and received an undergrad from Arkansas State University. He is a self-acclaimed super-fan of the Red Wolves. During his senior year of his undergrad, he enjoyed road trips, following the basketball and football programs to show his support for the teams. In the midst of his schooling, he felt the call to ministry during the summer between his sophomore and junior year of college, while serving at a local camp. Following this call, he took up various internships to gain experience and to discern his call. He is currently enrolled in Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary seeking a Master of Divinity.
During his tenure at ASU, he also found his wife, Amy, whom he got married to in June of 2022. They are a highly energetic couple who have a heart for reaching the next-generation and the unchurched together. Amy is a school teacher at Pine Haven Elementary School as a Kindergarten teacher. While at Trinity, Amy has served faithfully within our children's ministry, predominantly serving as our Kidzlife large-group leader. Andy uses his youthfulness to relate to students and build connections on a personal level as he believes that this is where effective ministry is found.
Michael is from Little Rock, Arkansas and currently lives in Benton, Arkansas with his Wife, Keri. He has more than 30 years experience in ministry serving in many churches in Arkansas in Student Ministry and Worship Ministry (Music Ministry). He has a true heart and passion to reach young people and adults with the music and message of hope and LIFE in Jesus Christ.
Michael holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Louisiana State University at Shreveport (LSUS), Bachelor of Business Administration from Strayer University, and has course work in Church Music from Williams Baptist University.
Michael has four (4) adult children, two (2) sons, Jordan & Preston, and two (2) daughters, Bay & Lindlee. Michael also enjoys two (2) grandchildren, Elias & Emira. Michael believes music can bring life to worship as the people of God use music to praise the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Michael combines his life experience and struggles personally, to communicate, using sound biblical truth, insight into the Word of God, and humor to make his teaching attractive and effective.
